Jay Andre

Seeing the need to provide an accurate, complete and professional consulting service to the commercial aircraft industry he started AEC.

His 45 years of experience includes serving in the US military, 747 Flight Engineer, VP of Engineering and a FAA Certificated Mechanic (which includes the FAA Inspector Authorization endorsement). He received his BS in Aviation Technology (Avionics/Maintenance) from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

Roldan ‘Bong’ Holgado

Roldan “Bong” Holgado is a BS Business Management graduate at Far Eastern University Manila. He started his aviation career at Lufthansa Technik Philippines as a Data Researcher and worked his way up to the Technical Services Department as a Records Controller and was the Records Unit Head for Engine Department prior to joining AEC.

Since joining the company in 2010, he completed a handful of aircraft returns, deliveries, repossessions, and audits including some special projects for engine, APU and LG back-to-birth review. He currently manages AEC Manila Office technical department.

Todd Smith

Todd Smith, our Chief Aeronautical Inspector brings us more than 37 years of aviation experience to us, the last 21 years with AEC Ltd. Prior to joining AEC Ltd., he held a position with Lockheed Martin as a Quality Assurance Inspector for 4 years and Avionics Technician for 8 years responsible for various avionic and electrical modifications. He is also an Aircraft Electrical Specialist for four years in the U.S. Air Force. He holds an FAA Airframe and Powerplant license.

Jacques Caliwag

Jacques “JC” Caliwag, our Sr. Technical Records Manager, brings us more than 20 years of aviation experience specializing in aircraft technical records management. Prior to AEC, he worked as Technical Records Specialist at Lufthansa Technik Philippines where he managed records for Philippine Airlines Airbus and Boeing fleet.

Since joining AEC in 2007, he has rendered services to the world’s leading aircraft leasing companies in terms of aircraft acquisition and redelivery. JC holds a Bachelor of Science degree from San Beda College of Manila.

Hanh Vincent Fonatina

Hanh Vincent Fonatina studied BS Aviation Major in Flying and BS Aircraft Maintenance Technology at Air Link International Aviation College. He trained as a Cabin Mechanic for A320 at DOTA Aero Aviation Services. He finished his Private Pilot Course including flight training in 2017 at Sapphire International Aviation Academy.

Since joining AECLTD in 2017, he has honed his skills as the manager of engine BtB department. He has also works as a lead project manager.

John Christopher Canto

John Christopher Canto is a graduate of BS Aeronautical Engineering from PATTS College of Aeronautics. He obtained his Philippine Aeronautical Engineering license in 2013 and began his career as an Apprentice in Airbus Helicopters’ operations department. Subsequently, he served as a Component Maintenance Manual Engineer at B/E Aerospace before joining AEC.

Since joining AEC in 2016, he has successfully completed over 100 Landing Gear projects. He was also instrumental in the development of the AEC BtB software.

Ishmael Gatbonton

Ishmael Gatbonton went to Air Link International Aviation College and completed two degrees, B.S. Aviation major in Flying (2012) and B.S. Aircraft Maintenance Technology (2015). He is an Airframe and Powerplant License holder and was trained as a flight mechanic at Airlink Aviation Flying School. Since joining AEC in 2016, he accomplished substantial amount of airframe records review, aircraft return/deliveries and audits specializing in maintenance planning and airworthiness and was instrumental in the development of the CLAMS software.

Ryan Tayco

Ryan is a graduate of Computer Secretarial from the University of Caloocan who is a self-taught Software Developer. He has several years of experience in offset printing and skills in building software solutions and enhancing database systems.

Since joining AEC in 2019, he developed software solutions prioritizing system speed, and functionality, including API integration that can be globally accessible on any device. He also maintains our network both local and globally.

Reinalyn Anos

Graduated with BS Management Accounting course at City of Malabon University. Year 2017, she started working at WSA, Inc. as Accounting Assistant and was later promoted to Senior Accounting Officer.

She joined AEC in 2020 as a General Accountant manager who’s responsible for all financial aspects for AEC.

Maria Elena E. Bundalian

Len graduated last 2001 from De La Salle University Taft Manila and she comes to AEC, Ltd with experience in the aviation industry as a Planning Manager at Philippine Airlines (PAL) where she successfully achieved aircraft utilization by introducing new routes worldwide. Len also previously worked at Lufthansa Technik Philippines (LTP) as Corporate Planning Officer where she successfully developed and implemented business plans for a $20 million hangar project.

She is the Admin Manager / Assistant to the President and implemented HR related workflow processes and employee relations.

Johan Doerlaksono

Johan Doerlaksono, our Marketing Head brings us more than 36 years of aviation experience with expertise in Aircraft Maintenance, Avionics, Marketing and Sales. He worked in Garuda Maintenance Facilities Aero-Asia in Jakarta, Indonesia as an Account Manager in Sales where he oversaw customer retention and sales collection. He also handled the Avionics shop and Component Services department of Garuda Maintenance Facilities.
He spent a year in handling Engineering as a Program Manager where he developed reliability control programs for the client.

In addition, he is also an experienced Avionics Engineer for various aircraft types.
